Lake Constance and the sunny slopes of the Rhine Valley used to be home to many vineyards. Nowadays just a few wine growers remain; among them is Josef Möth in Bregenz, whose vineyards are located within touching distance of Lake Constance. It’s a place where the vines benefit from the mild lake climate and sandy gravel soils. Grüner Veltliner, Welschriesling, Müller-Thurgau, Chardonnay and Brigantium Red Wine Cuvées are all varieties which can be tasted at the winery and its tavern, beautifully situated amidst vineyards at the foot of the Gebhardsberg hill.
